How difficult is it to see a doctor now?

Ive been trying to fight off a sinus infection on my own to avoid being a burden on medical system but it is getting worse. need to see a doctor for possible antibiotics. What is happening these days with walk in clinics? is it very difficult to be seen?

Extremely easy. If it’s something that can be solved over the phone, it’ll be a phone appointment. If it’s something needing an appointment they’ll make you an appointment. You may even just get a pres:cription faxed to your pharmacy. You just need to make sure to call your walk in of choice first. Although Sundays are always a bad day for this.

A few weeks ago I was able to go to walk in to get my sinus infection delt with (i held off for as long as I could until the head/face pain was unbarable). I was in and out in no time and got a prescription and was on my way!

Downside is im still fighting with my sinuses and probably gonna be back again, sigh.

Have you tried Hydrasense with eucalyptus nasal spray?
it really helped a family member.
Also I try to use a warm face cloth and self massage of the sinus cavities.

No luck with rinsing

I've had numerous sinus infections before.. but this one seems to be more in my nose than when I normally get them above the eyes. Bridge of my nose feels almost as if I've been punched and nose is so swollen my glasses dont fit. Most painful one I've ever had.

Nocares...I’d try calling first as they may just be able to fax your pharmacy a stronger antibiotic?

Just call in and set an appointment. It can be over the phone or in-person (as long as you do not have COVID type symptoms). 204-727-1711 for Wheat City Medical Clinic to book an apt.

Last time I tried just calling and doing it over the phone, but the walk in I called, you can only do that with your family doctor, not walk in.

So walk in I went

went to the Brandon clinic no appontment no problem in and out in 30 min
