My husband and I have decided after multiple IUI attempts, that we are ready to move onto IVF.  
I am looking for any advice when it comes to why you chose the clinic you did.. ie heartland or otherwise.  
I hear of many ppl leaving the province for treatment, but not clear why?  
Is it cheaper? Are the success rates higher? Bad experience? Just looking for some solid input. Thank you

We went to Heartland. We didn’t go through to the extent of treatments you did because we just couldn’t afford to.  
 
But what did work for us was Dr. Ye Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic. I don’t know if she still is in Brandon but I cannot say enough good things about her. Between her treatments and Chinese herbs and lots of time we had a child.  
 
Good luck in your journey. I have been there. It’s not easy

The things to look at are success rates, quality and age of equipment and wait time. If a clinic scores poor to very poor in all three best to not go there. Cost wise you get what you pay for.

It would really depend on what’s causing the infertility. I was referred to heartland, but my condition was something that could be managed on my own it would just be extremely difficult to do so. I did end up managing on my own though as the cost of IVF wasn’t gonna happen.  
 
I also looked into Dr Ye’s traditional chinese medicine, what she offered I essentially did on my own and got acupuncture from a family member. So although did not receive my methods from her I do know what she suggested and what route did work for me. She’s a good place to start if you’re wanting to try a more natural route. Again though this all  
depends on what’s causing the infertility.  
 
I have PCOS & endometriosis, fibroids and a whole lotta inflammation.

We have unexplained infertility.. every test we've had is normal or above average. It is basically a guessing game for us.
