cheeseburgermonster said "Maybe there is a small section of the home they can section off for one family visitor a week and rotate who is visited in a isolated area so it's safe from others being infected and the family member can wear stuff to protect the family member they are visiting. Better than the heartbreak these people go through dying alone or getting abused as no family to witness it. (yes that has happend even here in MB). Family member visiting can wear gloves booties masks (even make a donation to help cover the costs of those ?) and only enter into that one area. ???? Just a thought so the elderly can still see a loved one.

have family in PCH and the protocols in place are very good. The general public may not be aware of all the protocols but we receive emails and correspondence weekly with updates.
Visitors are restricted to dedicated persons on a pre arranged list and screened before entrance to the Home.
