Hi Adam, can you share where to find the exact data for Brandon? I like to track the case numbers for PMH so would appreciate the Brandon data too if you can share the source. Thanks!

The Province has issued Saturday's daily COVID-19 bulletin at:

A local perspective on data released alongside today’s update is below:

BRANDON:
Active cases on dashboard: 12 (+6)
Deaths: 22 (no change)
Unfortunately the new data source isn’t showing me a Brandon recoveries number. Will look into why that might not be the case and update when known.

PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN HEALTH REGION:
Reported new cases: 9
Total cases on dashboard: 2263 (+10)
Active cases on dashboard: 83 (-3)
Recoveries on dashboard: 2126 (+13)
Deaths: 54 (no change)
Active Hospitalizations: 0 (no change)
ICU Active patients: 0 (no change)

Of note, 28 of Prairie Mountain’s active cases are showing as being in the Porcupine Mountain region and 18 from the Turtle Mountain region.

In Manitoba as a whole, the province is reporting 135 new cases of COVID-19 and a five day test positivity rate of 5.7% in Manitoba.

A local perspective on data released alongside today’s update is below:

BRANDON:
Active cases on dashboard: 14 (+2)
Deaths: 22 (no change)
14 active cases represents Brandon's highest total since February 14.
For the second consecutive day I'm not able to access data on the number of Brandon recoveries, so it won't be possible to compute the total number of new Brandon cases. Am hopeful to learn more tomorrow on how this might be approached going forward.

PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN HEALTH REGION:
Reported new cases: 9
Total cases on dashboard: 2271 (+8)
Active cases on dashboard: 86 (+3)
Recoveries on dashboard: 2131 (+5)
Deaths: 54 (no change)
Active Hospitalizations: 1 (+1)
ICU Active patients: 0 (no change)

Then on the map, zoom into PMH and click on Brandon. It gives all the information each day once updated. See attached screenshot for today's data. Yesterday it listed 1,001 recoveries.

Thank you for this, will i:nclude in the next update this afternoon.

So including active cases, for Brandon that would be +3 in Sunday’s update and +7 in Saturday’s update... or +10 on the weekend. Gut check time for the community. Numbers have been so low for so long that there’s the potential for complacency.

A death has been reported of a female in her 50s in the Prairie Mountain Health Region. Data indicates that this was Brandon’s 23rd death of the pandemic and the city’s first in more than two months.
