So after the frontline health workers and hospital and personal care workers get vaccinated how do we get this opportunity ? Do we have to register somewhere? Do they call us ? Will it be like the normal flu shots given out at pharmacies? I’ve been trying to follow it but am more confused than anything. Who gets which type of vaccine? I am a senior does that mean anything or no? Asked a couple of neighbours and they just shrug their shoulders.

As of right now if you meed the eligibility criteria you would call for an appointment. Criteria is at this link:

Can expect them to keep widening that criteria over time and have to assume broaden it past phone-based appointment booking eventually!

This is how the feds deem they should be spread keeping in mind that each province can and will set their own criteria, this gives a general idea as to where you may fall in line to be vaccinated. If your not health care, in an indigenous community in correctional facility in some capacity or 65+ and vulnerable i'd expect you have a good couple month wait yet before being eligible.

Once more supplies arrive I would imagine you will need to call the government number to set up an appointment. I’m sure they will indicate which people are eligible. It might be by age or other health issues. Currently they are only finishing up the second doses until more vaccine is available

I would like to get tested to see if I'm immune, how does that get done? Anyone?

You can get this done in saskatchewan for $75 but also requires a dr requisition as well being in person to have blood drawn. Maybe not even available to manitobans but worth a look.

Apparently if you charter a plane to Beaver Creek in the Yukon you can get vaccinated but you might have to resign from your job...

No lab will tell you your immune, that is just bad science. They may say you have the antibodies required to fight it tho, but that’s about it. There is no telling how long you will have the correct antibodies either tho, you may get the vaccine shot and get covid 6 months later. You might of had covid in summer abs even tho you have the antibodies you could possibly get it again next month. There are no certainties with this virus

Isn't it? The thousand dollars in fines these two got doesn't even match what they would have paid for their chartered flight up there (I work in the industry - I know this for a fact) This guy made nearly $10 million a year as CEO of the Casino chain in Vancouver he worked for so this punishment doesn't even equal a slap on the wrist.

Not sure how MB is doing their roll out, but my guess is there is a link on their main website to get yourself on the list??  
 
Here is BC they are rolling ours out in five year increments and those of us under 70 years old have to register in advance for when they get to our respective age groups. They haven't got the wait list up yet though.

Dr. Joss Reimer did announce yesterday that they are expecting later this week to release a ranked list for which groups get vaccines in what order. No dates, but at least to give everyone a gist of where they are in the pecking order.  
 
I would expect it to come out either Wednesday or Friday on regular pressers.

Very disgusting. You would think a CEO who was paid just shy of 11 million dollars last year would have the contacts and means to hire someone to come to his residence and inject them in their own bed.  
 
But clearly this man is an idiot as he didn't even bother to research Beaver Creek to realize that there is only around 90 full time residents so you can bet everyone knows everyone and by name.

Do you really think "everyone" and "other people" even remotely factored into their decision?
