    ganglion cysts on foot removed ?

    Anyone have this done not sure what he would be called .My friend can not remember his name  
    There is a specialist surgeon that removed a ganglion cyst from a friend's hand now I know a hand is different then a foot I wonder if the surgeon would also remove cysts from feet ? Anyone recall who this surgeon is I know he is in Brandon .

    Are you thinking of Dr. Ahweng? He removed a ganglion cyst from my family member's foot. Excellent surgeon!

    I smacked mine with a book and it went away lol.  
     
    You’ll need a referral for Dr Ahweng (sp?) Walk in or family doctor can do that for you.

    How long is the recovery after the surgery. I got one as well

    think that would depend, on the size of the ganglion, the incision made, and where the cyst is on your foot.  
    Family member's was small but pressing on tendons and nerves so very painful but grateful for Dr. Ahweng for the surgery.
