Can anyone tell me how long one has to wait before getting negative or positive test results from a COVID test here in Brandon

You have to log onto Shared Health website, create an account and then use health card number to access results. should be able to see result next day or day after that. You would have been given some papers when tested telling how to get results. Also if you test positive they will contact you right away

Just over a day. I got tested in February and was negative. Continue to follow the guidelines.

Do you need an appointment at the drive through off 17th st East. On the Manitoba site it looks like you might not. Would this site take longer for results. . It seems a while back some tests were taking up to a week So they are faster now?

You do not require an appointment for the site at 17th St E. It's a drive thru site run by the government. The site at the Keystone does require an appointment and it's run by Dynacare. Turn around for both sites is currently about 24-36 hours as they all go to the same lab to be processed I believe.  
 
I've never waited more than 10 min at the drive thru site, and I've looked at booking appointments at Keystone and could get a slot in as little as 5 min away. So both are excellent choices and very efficient.

The east end test site is drive through, no apt. I have heard results come quicker back from this site but this may just be a matter of opinion.  
 
Most I know have had results now in about 24 hours.

you don't need an appointment. turnaround time last week for my test was 1.5 days. tested Tuesday results Thursday around noon
