like to take my grandaughter who is 14 but I think even though she is old enough to babysit she might not fall under 'dependant' lol We are from two diff households too.

in same car and are essentially together it’s against the rules and they won’t allow it

One member per household does not translate into shopping with friends or family so no, you can’t take your granddaughters shopping. Unless you are their caregiver/guardian. We are only supposed to be shopping for essentials right now. Hopefully that will change soon

talked with a security guard and if the person is under 18 (that's the age on the sign by the door they had) and they can't be left alone and have say an appointment at a eye place for example, then you can bring them, but you have to stay 6 feet apart (which makes no sense when it's family and you will be walking beside them when you leave the building). And I'm pretty sure the guard meant is you can bring that one child only,not the whole family.  
I'll wait and see how if the rules change...
