Is there a vaccine walk-in clinic on Sunday at the Keystone, June 20, 2021

Sunday 9am-1pm - First Dose Moderna  
Sunday 1pm-8pm - 1st and second dose Moderna or you can make appts online if you don’t want to wait in a line up.  
 
On Saturday there is 200 First Dose Walk in For Pfizer 3-5 pm

Everything I can find says walk in starts Sunday not Saturday.

1st Dose or ELIGIBLE 2nd dose in PM.

Doesn’t mention Saturday.

Heard it on the radio this morning and also in the Brandon Sun (screen shot included).

It says they will be there to Promote walk in vaccines and that Walk in vaccines officially start on Sunday. It doesn’t specifically say that you can get a walk in vaccine on Saturday. I just don’t want to waste my time but Saturday would be easier.

If you read it, it states “ On Saturday, the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose promotional teams will be on hand at the Brandon Keystone Centre supersite to promote walk-in appointments for Moderna vaccines, beginning at 3 p.m. to 5 p.m”  
 
It clearly states this happening on SATURDAY from 3-5pm.

Promoting doesn’t mean it’s happening especially when it then says walk in officially starts Sunday. Thank you AG your link clearly states they are doing walk in vaccines.

At the keystone centre you are currently not able to book a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.  
 
It seems weird that they wouldn’t use the current stock of Pfizer doses for people that already had a first dose of Pfizer and use Moderna for the first dose walk-in appointments this weekend.  
 
I got first dose Pfizer and will get second dose Moderna this weekend because I know it is perfectly fine to mix them.  
 
Just thought it was interesting that they chose to do it this way!

Well my parents are booked to receive second dose Pfizer vaccine at the keystone tomorrow (Saturday).

Yes, they are still doing previously booked second dose Pfizer appointments until stock runs outs.  
 
But you currently cannot book a second dose Pfizer Appointment.

I have booked a second dose for Pfizer . can I go to the walk in on sunday, and get my second shot of pfizer even though I'm booked for a week from now? I don't want them to run out of Pfizer.... I would like to get it before they run out...does anyone know, or where can I phone to find out? thanks

My understanding is the Pfizer at walk-in are “first dose only” States it on post above too  
If you have an appointment next week your lucky both my nephews were booked July 8  
for Pfizer both were canceled already , yesterday Friday, and they both were told it would be into late July or August before they could rebook Pfizer . My understanding anyone booked after July 7 could be canceled. They both rebooked for Moderna appointments for tomorrow they’re not waiting.  
 
My aunt is booked July 6 and has not been canceled, the news brief she watched said appointments after Juky 7,  
 
So if your appointment is next week you should be ok the news brief stated that they only make appointments for the amount of vaccines available and on hand. You could always call the booking line and double check.

Are there 2 separate lines at the Keystone Super Site one for walk ins and one for appointments?  
Maybe someone working at site knows and could post or someone who has been there.

I apologize for not wanting to drive for a wasted journey. As my grandmother always said, if you can’t say anything nice, please don’t say anything at all.

Did you by chance try booking? 1st doses my understanding are being prioritized and seems to be lots of Moderna right now available. Then you could find a day that works for you and a time without worry of driving in with no guarantee of getting dose.
