As patients, can we request specific labs from doctors?  
I attend family doctor once a year for yearly check up and labs. - the last time I went I requested CRP - the doctor said what for? I stated I would like to see if there’s any inflammatory indications - when I received the lab results back, the doctor did not order it and there were also labs such as Calcium that were ordered previous year but not on the current labs.  
I want to request bone scan next time - can I request it and can dr deny?

If there is no indication that tests are required then your Dr should not order them. Every test costs the taxpayers money, and medical services of all kinds are very delayed right now because of the pandemic, so ordering tests just because is a big no-no. I don’t know if the tests you are asking for are indicated or not, not trying to debate that with you, just answering the question.

Sometimes you have to bully your doctor into listening… took me two years of complaining before they did an mri for me to say what I knew all along I had a torn ACL. As for blood tests depends on how they send your blood work, wouldn’t wanna say it but sometimes you can add things. Bone density scans are going to be a wait. But if your GP won’t try walk in.  
As for why they check somethings and not others depends on medication your taking, previous diagnoses and the information given at the appointment.

There are two sides to every discussion. Some people read too much on the internet, and try to diagnose themselves. To the medical professions credit, they won't necessarily order tests if they don't fit any symptoms you have, and you are just curious. Sone physicians may need a little prodding to order tests, but again they won't order them unless indicated by your history/symptoms. I am not aware of any private lab services you can pay for unless you go to the US, but this may be a route to pursue at your own expense.
