Has anyone here had any experience with a vestibular physiotherapist? I learned that there was such a thing at the Health Checks Wellness Expo yesterday. I don't have any health insurance so it would be expensive for me if it doesn't do any good. Any information about what I might hopefully expect would be appreciated.

I was in a terrible accident 5 years ago. I ended up with a serious traumatic brain injury (TBI). I would get dizzy all the time. I would throw up if I moved my head too quickly. I could not look out the side windows when in a moving vehicle. It was hell. It was recommended for me to see a vestibular therapist. I used Kyle at Physio First (beside The Keg). It worked. You have to do the exercises. It's hard work but worth it. If you are going through anything like I described I understand. Thank you for sharing this and I'm sorry for what you've gone through. A traumatic brain injury sounds pretty scary. My situation is a little different and probably related to old age. I'm quite off balance and use a cane to steady myself. Uneven ground or having to turn my head could cause me to fall if I didn't have some support. I used to love walking and miss it a lot. Thanks for your recommendation of Kyle at Physio First.
