It is a tough decision

Make sure which ever one you choose matches the needs of your loved one.
My mom as in Hillcrest for 8+ years. She never settled in but I never had a question about how wonderful her care was.
It is a smaller home...not the fanciest or the prettiest but every staff member who walked by called her by name, chatted with her, took time to get to know her and her likes. They "snuck" her some of her favorite treats and I always felt they treated her with respect.
In her final hours I watched as staff came in said good bye and left with tears in their eyes. I left her bedside for a short period of time. When I returned one of the nurses has stayed after her shift knowing mom was near the end and she stayed until I got back to be with her.
It was a very hard decision to make and I had opportunity to move mom a couple of times. I never regretted my choice.
