Just recently I got back from vacation in British Columbia, befor I left for my trip I knoticed one of my piercings (a dimple piercing) had gotton a little inflared and iratated and kept in my mind to bring my cleaning spary ment spesifcly for piercings. Apon ariving I realized I had forgotten it and would pick up some sea salt in Whistler.
I could not find any ANYWHERE! my piercing got so infected the ball in the inside of my mouth started to get sucked into the hole and heal over, for the next couple days I brushed after every meal and smoke and used mouth wash, and sailien salution on the outside. One of my friends there was a piercer and I consulted her and showed her how bad it was. Apon showing her she told me this witch any piercer will tell you..."DO NOT TAKE IT OUT! if you do the hole will heal the infection inside and it will spread and will leave pockets of infection in your cheek. Wen you get back go to your piercer he will take it out and put a longer one in, than go to a doctor and get antibiotics to help with the infection and swelling amd clean like you did the first it me you got it."
Wen I got off the plane and finally got pack home I was in so much pain I just wanted to take if out. So I wen to emerge to get some medication (it was 2 am) while waiting to see the doctor a nerse came in to speak to me qickly. She was extremly rude first off and asked me why i would get it pierced in the first place cause the mouth is so dirty..
I'm going to trail off here, First of all not sure wen it became someones job to judg others but I had the piercing for almsot a year now and it was fully healed befor it flared up. Second I dont ask people why they dont have piercings so why should they care if I have them witch is wat I told her. "I dont judge u for being an old crusty B!tch and not having them so why judge me?" sept for the old crust bitch part. She told me he would want to take it out and I told her he cant.
Doctor coems in and same thing is pretty rude, I told him I wouldn't let him take it out and why, he asked who told me that i said a couple piercers and his replay "Well they lied to you!" gave me meds and sent me on my way.
Morning coems I go get it changed next day it feels soooo much better day after that its healed again with no discharge. This story is for anyone worried about a piercing, if its really bad or you are woried GO TO THE PIERCER or a PROFFESTION PIERCER cause I know there are underground ones witch I'll tell you now AVIOD there not legally sterial or get inspections. Doctors know little to nothing about piercings unless they worked in a shop, its not internal problems. I took one out with out putting somthin back in during an infection and now have a litle lump of infection. If you go to your doctor they will say to take it out, they all will, this is not the case. Just get antibiotics and be on your way and go to a shop.
