I'm wondering if anyone on here has dealt with kidney stones or similar problems...
Here's my problem
For about 6 years now I've gotten severe kidney pains when I drink alcohol. These pains are strongest in my sides and in my lower back. It's not everytime I drink, but maybe every 5 or 6 times. When it does happen I can't even usually stand up. The pain only lasts about a half hour or so. BUT I got them last night and I have not had a drink in a week. Now all of today there has been a dull ache in my sides and sometimes in my groin...
I've looked up a bunch off stuff on kidneys and can't seem to find anything that really fits the discreption of what I'm feeling and the fact it has been happening for 6 years on and off. Yes, I've been meaning to go to the doctor for years about this, but the pain comes so far apart that I think everythings ok. Well until it happens again or I just blame the alcohol, because naturally alcohol hurts your kidneys. The thing that was scary about last night is that I had not been drinking.. I have had the DULL aches without drinking aything at all before. I had never gotten the bad ones that go around my back without drinking until last night.
Anyone experinced something similar? Could it just be minor kidney stones if there is such a thing???? Oh and just incase it's serious, does anyone have a spare kidney?
