Last week, my grandmother and two elderly aunts were in a car accident just outside of Brandon on their way to Winnipeg. One was released, one is still recovering from surgery and unfortunately my grandmother didn't survive. BUT throug the entire ordeal, my family who came from all over the provinvce, Saskatchewan and Alberta could not help but marvel at the efficiency, compassion and professionalism displayed by the hospital staff in ICU, Surgery and in Pallative Care.  
 
Again and again I heard how my grandmother and aunt would never have recieved such great care anywhere else and especially not in Winnipeg. The nursing staff especially have made this difficult time easier on so many levels, that flowers or a gift basket could never express my gratitude. With jobs that routinely receive nothing but complaints and stress, I wanted to publically thank them all for what they have done and let them know that me and my entire family appreciate them and what they have and are continuing to do for our family, more than they can ever know.
