I have a ganlion cyst on my wrist and have seen a couple of doctors(GP"s) about it. I can't seem to get a straight answer. GP 1 said it needs to be removed and only an orthopedic surgion can do it. GP 2 said go to the pan am clinic and they can remove it without waiting forever. I called the Pan Am, general inquieries, said they can be done there, but if you prefere to make an appt. , talk w/ sports medicine dept. Sports medicine says they can look at it but I would still be refered to a surgeon. So does it realy take a highly specialized orthopedic surgion to remove a gel-filled bubble just under my skin?? has anyone had them removed? Thanks.
