What to do for a pinched nerve?

My father pinced a nerve and is having terrible pain in his leg. SO bad that he can barely walk.
Wondering what you can do for this?
(He has been to the doctor who gave him pain killers)
I was just wondering if there is anything else that people have done that seemed to have worked. Someone told me there was a lady near Brandon who can massage the area and "place the nerve" back in place. Is there any home remidies?
