Last Tuesday I experienced indigestion which was soon followed by bouts of hiccups. The episodes would occur 5 to 7 times a day and overnight. The hiccups would last as long as 90 minutes. I did go to the walk in and he gave me a prescription that is to coat the lining of my stomache. This was Wednesday of last week I also went to see my family doctor who prescribed a pill to be taken twice daily to help with the hiccups.  
This is now going on 6 days and I seem to be no further ahead. I am not able to eat much and have tried a variety of remedies for the hiccups but none seem to have worked. I go back to see my doctor Monday but would welcome any advice from anyone who has had a similar problem.I need to get some sleep and my energy level is getting weaker by the day.
