I think it is unrealistic to exercise every day for many people. Things happen, like weather, a headache, other plans, etc. If you aim for every day then miss some, you might feel like you are failing. I aim for 5 days a week, and tell clients to do the same (I am in health care). 45 mins of jogging, walking, biking, weights, or workout video. That is in addition to 'unofficial' exercise like gardening or yardwork. Some days I get a lot more, for example I went for an hour and a half bike ride on the Lake Adam trail on Friday night.
