Thank a nurse!

With the recent complaint about a surgical wait time, I wanted to take a minute to say something positive about the Manitoba Health Care system.
I had surgery in January at the Brandon Hospital, and I wanted to say I had the most AMAZING medical team!
First, my nurses & anesthesiologist were angels to me. They walked me through my hysterical breakdown pre-surgery, helped me calm down, and was there for me the moment I woke up. Denzel, my nurse once I was out of recovery was honestly the sweetest person I could have ever met. She was honestly, and genuinely concerned for my well being, and of those that were also in the room. (I was with two other people, both who had major surgeries as well.)
My nurses aid's as well, were always checking up on me to make sure I had everything I needed. Made sure I was comfortable, and even dealt with me being super stubborn about wanting to get out of bed, even though I wasn't supposed to.
These girls were physically and emotionally exhausted, clearly, and looked like they never stopped for a lunch. They were wonderful! And I'd like to hear other people's great stories about nurses! Time for some positive light on our amazing staff!
