Or at least they say they are. Most fad diets go something like this take a few foods, give them 'magic' power, and set a plan to convince people that eating this way and only this way will promote weight loss. These diets might spur short-term weight loss, but many are difficult to follow, have arbitrary rules, and a few could put your health in danger. It's not rocket science if you burn more calories than you're taking in, you will lose weight! So if you're trying to lose weight, the first few pounds might melt off relatively easily. Your body didn't see it coming! However, progress quickly slows down. Your body responds by making it a little harder for you to burn calories, likely why these diets are 21 day etc.
If you really want to lose weight and get in shape you have to make changes both to the way you eat and how active you are and stick to it. You have to want it. Get a gym membership, hire a trainer, get a nutrition plan and make a n effort and the results will be more then any of these fad diets. Sorry for the rant and nothing personal against the 21 day fix crew! " |

I completely understand how some may think that the 21 Day Fix is a new fad diet however it is not a diet AT ALL. In fact, you can still eat cheese, chocolate, and drink wine.
The 21 Day Fix is all about getting people to understand and use portion control. Yes, it is recommended that you drink Shakeology while doing the program... but, do you absolutely have to? No.
And yes I completely agree with you, people can go out, get a gym membership, pay for a trainer, and get someone to do your nutrition plan for you... or they can get a Beachbody coach who has numerous programs to offer you and will be there for you each step of the way. We can offer you all those things for the comfort of your own home! And it's not just the 21 Day Fix we have to offer. If you like to dance, try the new CIZE program! Enjoy kickboxing? Well then try TurboFire. Want to bulk up? Try Body Beast.
There are sooo many options to offer and any good Beachbody coach will sit down with you and figure out which program would help you reach your goals!
I have absolutely nothing against going to the gym or getting a trainer but honestly, for the people who want the convenience of having all the information and resources you need in one spot and want the support and motivation to get up off their butts and start making that change, getting a Beachbody coach is one of your best options.
