Are there any doctors in Brandon that will take children? My child is currently seeing a surgeon at the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg but I am wondering if there are any doctors in town that will take him as a patient without needing a referral?

You will need a referral

from your family Doctor if you want your child to a see a specialist.

There is no Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in Brandon. And as fuzzy said, a referral is needed to see a specialist.

The Society for children with Disabilities used to bring in doctors from Wpg 2 or 3 times a year to check out children on their list for in and around Brandon. What ever specialist were needed came here for the check ups.
