Just wondering if anyone has had their stretch marks removed via laser treatment, were you satisfied with the results, and where did you go?  
 
Before I get blasted, I would just like to point out that I am extremely proud to be a mother and am okay with a certain amount of stretch marks. However, due to a medical condition during my pregnancy, I put on an extreme amount of weight in a very short time in my lower body leaving me with stretch marks from just below the knee to my waist. While I have never been fond of shorts, I would like to wear something cooler than pants all summer. Many dresses and even a lot of capris are too short when I sit down or even stand.

other than advertising companies I always heard on TV programs and books that you can't remove stretched marks.  
No one has answered if it was a success for them.

I went in for a free consultation at a clinic here and was told it would cost $600 per treatment and they recommend at least 3 treatments. I knew it would be pricey but that seems insane to me. I'm guessing a lot of new moms would want to get rid of stretch marks, but how are you supposed to be able to afford it so soon when you are (possibly) on maternity leave? They said the sooner you do it after acquiring the stretch marks, the better. Success rate is between 40-90%. That seems like quite a range.
