I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for cleaning products - for windows/glass, stain removers, bathroom cleaners - that are gentle on sensitive skin. I have eczema that gets VERY agitated when I use things like Windex. I have heard that Norwex has some good products, but am wondering if there are any brands that can be purchased in town. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I really like Method brand. It's Eco-friendly, non toxic, basic and gentle.  
You can get it for sure at Canadian Tire and Shopper's Drug Mart carries some too. I'm sure other places carry it too. The cleaners also work very effectively.

I use vinegar and water for glass cleaner with newspaper/flyers for wiping. I also make my own bathroom cleaner with heated vinegar and dishsoap (environmentally friendly) and wipe with a magic eraser. I also use vinegar for the floors. My kids have eczema and I try to minimize the amount of harsh chemicals they are exposed to in our home. The kids dont do the hard cleaning though so I can't say if these cleaners irritate their skin with direct contact.

I have used Norwex for the past few years & wouldn't use anything else. Windows, glass, mirrors are cleaned with water only. Their cloths are amazing. The floor mop has a dry pad & a wet pad. Again when you wash your floors you only use water. The cloths for your face remove makeup - again only using water. I am not a Norwex rep but could put you in touch with my consultant. You will not regret spending the money because you will save it not buying harsh cleaning products.

they sell the exact cloths as Norwex for cleaning.  
I have the Norwex window cloth and I think it was around $20 bucks. They work great.  
 
But then I spotted these at Home Hardware and they are exactly as good as the Norwex.

Eczema since I was a child. The last thing I would want on my skin is vinegar. Just Sayin.

I am also not a Norwex consultant but love their product. I have not seen the cloths that Brenda talks about from Home Hardware or done any research on them but Norwex has very finely "knit" (more microfiber in the same amoubt of spaxe) microfiber so they tend to work better than other brands...something to check on before spending money on a product. I usually hate using microfiber because it "sticks" to my hand but don't feel that way with Norwex. The nice thing is that you can get it shipped right to your house and it come from Dauphin so only takes a couple of days!
