Is there anyone in Brandon doing this therapy? Or is there anyone in Brandon doing trigger point therapy?

The only place I know of is Dynamic Physiotherapy, on Richmond Ave.

I've been told that dry needling is different than acupuncture.

They both use the same type of needles, but acupuncture is focused on opening the body's channels for optimum chi flow and self-healing, whereas dry needling is focused on trigger point release. I thought there was something on here not too long about this-I think someone in Boissevain does it? Depends on what your health problem is. I have had both, dry needling hurts more.

Merle at Turtle Mountain Physiotherapy in Boissevain does dry needling. Excellent physiotherapist, and knows the right ways to use the dry needling techniques to their full effect.  
 
I had looked around and not found anyone in Brandon doing it. Doesn't mean there isn't, but I hadn't found them and several physiotherapists I spoke to about it in Brandon didn't know of anyone in Brandon practicing it.
