I have a question I have never tied it I have smelled it and do not like the smell so if I tried some in food how much would one have to take before it helps with pain & I will not be loopy ?

I'm new to the medical marijuana as well but with the limited experience and research I have done I found that you can find some very low THC strains of cannabis from a Licensed Producer that shouldn't make you feel too loopy. I also use a vaporiser as the pain relief effects are more instantaneous rather than eating it which takes a lot longer to kick in. Also using a vaporizer doesn't stink up the house.

There are to main strains of marijuana as well if you haven't done a little research yet. one is indica and one is sativa. One strain can make you feel lazy and super loopy where as the other stain doesn't make you feel as loopy. Hope this helps a little I can't remember which is which but you can look it up.

I looked them up so I'm either bouncing off the walls or moving like a snail . which one is for pain relief ?

the thc in marijuana is what helps with pain. any stain helps, its just one strain either makes you a little slow and the other gets you up.

Your going to extremes, best bet is a mixture. The problem with edibles which is well documented is a lot of companies can't control how much THC and Canaboid are in the portions. If you don't like the smell vaping is also a good option but if you go the edibles route be aware to only take a small bit at a time.

The THC in marijuana is what gets you 'high'. The CBD is what helps with pain.

Find a Sativa strain with a low THC and High CBD content and that should help with pain relief and not make you feel loopy or lazy.

You won't be bouncing off the walls with any sort of cannabis strain. Just with sativa's you are less likely to feel body numb and relaxed.

I too am looking for pain relief and am tired of pills. How do you go about getting cannabis for medicinal purposes. thanks

has a office in Winnipeg and that's who I contacted to get me in contact with a Dr to write a prescription but you can talk with your family doctor and see if they will give you a prescription first. There is a $200 administration fee if you go through MFT

for correcting me. its been a while since I've read about all this stuff.

Cannabis oil is high in CBD and low in THC, so you won't feel the high feeling from it. It has done amazing things in terms of pain relief, and is gaining quite a name for itself. You literally would only take a few drops of it a couple of times a day. Also, it's not illegal and you can purchase it right off of this website, although you shouldn't take it over the border.
