I have astigmatism and was told that you can't get coloured contacts when you have astigmatism (where I go for vision care anyways). I've been wearing coloured contacts for a long time before my astigmatism and was wondering if it was true that I can't wear them anymore and if not, where I can get them?

It's possible that clinic does not offer the variety of astigmatism product lines for contacts. You may have to call and inquire at other clinics and ask if they do sell coloured contacts for astigmatism: they will most likely want to test and measure your eyes to order the appropriate contacts. I buy Toric Circle Lenses currently but these are specially made coloured/clear contacts for people like us with astigmatism. I have also in the past purchased Acuvue coloured contacts  
for astigmatism. Neither brand were bought in the clinics of Brandon, MB. or covered directly through my insurance. I travel to/from my hometown in SK. Pay out of my own pocket to enjoy the amenity of coloured eyes.
