Wondered if anyone has had cataract surgery in the US to avoid the long wait here?

What time frame are you looking at?
I saw Dr. Rocha in September had surgery two weeks ago. He does surgery in Brandon and Another town, maybe Neepawa or Minnesoda as well.

if they are telling you 4 to 6 months wait-Brandon has not been that long. If you ask to be put on the 48 hour standby list you are likely to get in much quicker.

Long appointment wait times in Brandon

Called Dr. Rocha for appointment and I have to wait 6 months just for an initial appointment and that's before any surgery wait times. Asked to be put on the cancellation list but 3 months in to my 6 month wait I have not received a call. Unfortunately Dr. Rocha is the only one in Brandon so traveling is the only other option.

I believe he has another office in Minnedosa, and my dad travelled there to get in sooner.

Saw Dr. Rocha but told to wait a year and then saw him again but I dont think I am even on a list for surgery but I think I need it and my wife cannot see to drive and we are a long way north
