Foot nurse?

Wondering if there are any foot nurses in the Brandon area. A google search for Prairie Mountain Health did not list any in Brandon.

Scotsman, foot care nurses are different than podiatrists.
Here's a link to the MB Association of Foot Care Nurses. (There are probably others who are Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses, but who aren't members of the Foot Care Association, but this is a place to start.)

That is where I looked as well, and none listed for Brandon. Wonder where else I might be able to find a name?

Maybe try calling the Home Care program (204-578-2325)? They may have a list of foot care nurses?

My mom used to be a foot care nurse and she travelled all over South-Western Manitoba to see clients. I would check the link out mentioned above and call and see what the availability is of a nurse to come to Brandon.

I have been seeing a lady now over 2 years & she is wonderful.. She does ( in home service ) for a reasonable rate... Her name is Lynn Robertson.... Not sure if she is taking on new clients though...

Tracy is a RN and also a licensed foot care nurse, who does home visits, and is based in Brandon. She will handle the insurance paperwork if you're covered by VA, Blue Cross, etc. Not sure if she's taking new clients but worth the call. 204-724-0510.

Call the Home Care office or Seniors for Seniors. I think either or both would have a listing of foot care nurses. Dr office or podiatrist office may have a list as well.

Two Registered Nurses Available for Footcare

Footcare appointments are scheduled twice a month with 2 registered nurses at Seniors for Seniors, 311 Park Avenue East. Ph: 204-571-2050. They can also come to your home.
