So let me start by saying 1) I don't have a lot of money and 2) I have had braces before. I got my braces done with dr Bales, was really well done, however, I lost my retainer about a year after my braces came off. Silly me never got a new one. My teeth were never bad at all, just spaces, but they have shifted a tad, nothing too sever as i did have the internal braces.... but, my top internal brace just came off...bummer...so I'm looking for somewhere that can help. As I'd like to "tighten" up my teeth back, and take off this glue that is now stuck on the backs of my top teeth (super annoying). Any ideas what won't cost me an arm and a leg?. I don't need high end like Bales, as I'm not having any complex stuff done, just as simple as possible! Thanks in advance

Minnedosa Dental Clinic does braces for minor issues and at like 1/2 the cost of an orthodontist in town. If you have access to a vehicle it is well worth the trip!

Try Dr. Pappas @ Chancellor Dental! 204 727 5885! They are closed for a few days but open again on Monday!

Thankyou all for your comments! Yes I do understand you get what you pay for, that's why I went with Bales for the first time, however, closing spaces that are not even noticeable to anyone but me, shouldn't cost me my kidney lol ha thanks again everyone for taking the time to comment!

GP dentists have more education than merely 5 days of orthodontics within dental school A knowledgeable GP will understand their limitations of treatment and can refer the more complex cases (however that knowledge is unbeknownst to the general public).  
 
I will agree, though, that treatment by a specialist in any facet will be by someone with more knowledge. Treating orthodontic relapse is not always 'simple', though, and may again be better in the hands of the specialist again.  
 
Lifelong retention is always the battle in keeping the teeth in the newfound position. Wear your retainers, or, put up with the bonded retainers.
