Does anywhere in Brandon sell Olympic size free weights? Canadian Tire has packages but does not sell individuals. Have checked A&L, Sportschek, Streaming Wood, Krevco, Wal-Mart and Source for Sports. Nothing. Anywhere else that I may be missing? Time to spend more money on Amazon?

I have been looking for a for a few months as well. I have decided that fitness depot is the best value. I plan on driving in on thurs!

Treadmill Factory website is great, Fitness Depot in WPG is pretty good too.

If there was enough people to sustain selling them there would be someone selling them. Hard to cater to 50 thousand people when there is a city 2 hrs away with 750 thousand people. We may be the 2nd largest city in Manitoba but we are just still a drop in the bucket.

Krevco was already checked out by the OP. Unless you want to pay the 30% markup on individual plates Canadian Tire and Walmart are really the only choices in Brandon. It's online shopping or making a trip to a larger centre that will give you more options with fitness equipment.

Neither Canadian Tire nor Walmart sell olympic plates individually. Olympic plates have 2" centers: the ones at Cdn Tire/Walmart are 1".

people but it serves a surrounding area of much larger. It's getting harder and harder to find all sorts of things in Brandon. I'm betting you could for sure double and easily almost triple the number of people that Brandon is their largest near by centre. We matter out here too, not just the people in larger centres. Frustrating as all get out - and I am an online shopper, but there are items I want to be able to physically look at before purchasing for sure.

I think I have the same set as ChrisDA and my first barbell was kinda cheap I could stand to sell it. Send me a PM as well bud!  
 
ps. When I read the comment about the "Joy of living in Brandon" I thought we had a health/fitness shop called "Joy of Living" I hadn't heard about! Great name for a sarcastic business owner. Just an empty room with a grumpy guy sitting at a customer service desk.
