I have a scar on my body that I'd like to have removed, or at least faded by at least 75%. Are there any places here in Brandon that specialize in removing / fading scars, or would I have to go to Winnipeg for something like that? Also, what can a person expect to pay for such?

I had a scar called a Keloid, that resulted from a surgery. It needed to be treated by the plastic surgeon at Pan Am Clinic in Winnipeg. The treatment was to inject it with a steroid. this treatment was completely successful, although was quite painful during.  
 
Depending how the scar occurred, and the extent of it, you may need to resort to this type of solution. If it isn't very pronounced, vitamin E can be helpful as well.

Currently going to SKIN clinic on Rosser for scar treatments. Cost depends on which type of treatment and how big the area is. I've had two treatments. Going for another soon. Noticing a difference but need a few more treatments (as recommended). Not cheap and not pain-free, but it will be worth it in the end. Best wishes!
