Well.

I hope you don''t take this the wrong way, but I''m going to spell some stuff out for you that you may not want to hear, but you need to hear.
1. Asking others to provide you with a workout schedule and a plan for specific body parts is not doing yourself any favors.
Having someone lay everything out for you does NOTHING for you. You need to understand WHY you''re doing lifts you''re doing. You need to understand the concepts of routine, programming and diet at a fundamental level.
Otherwise, you get what happened to you the first time: Your guidance left and you were left alone with zero knowledge and seemingly no motivation.
Do your own research and take the time to understand what you''re getting in to and why you''re doing it. If you''re just looking for someone to give you a quick fix, a simple routine and a fast track to weight loss - it ain''t gonna happen. Motivation dies a quick death when the basic understanding of what you''re wanting to accomplish isn''t there.
2. " Please don''t send me links or tell me to do research." Sorry, but with this attitude, you''re not going to get far.
Working out and lifting weights isn''t something you just do for a week and ''get buff''. It''s something you do for YEARS - finding out what works for you and what doesn''t is the most important aspect of weight lifting - or any fitness regime for that matter.
Saying you don''t want links or you don''t want to be told to do research sends red flags.
If you lazily approach something like fitness, you''re going to fall out of interest and go back to old habits.
3. "I''ve tried for a couple years now and I find if I follow a plan someone else gives me, it''s a lot easier to follow"
Of course it is - but that doesn''t mean it''s working for you. Like I''ve said - you NEED to research lifting weights and what''s involved in that type of regime. Although it''s a good starting point, simply doing a routine someone gives you is going to hinder your long term goals.
4. Let''s say you get your act together and finally do some research and get motivated. That''s great! But your next thing to research is diet and let me tell you - you can have the best lifting routine in the world, but if you''re diet is crap - you''re wasting your time.
5. "Any help would be appreciated"
The only help you need is people telling you to start researching and learning the fundamentals of diet and exercise. Stay away from the ''FAD'' diets (Keto, Paleo, Cleanses..etc) because those offer immediate returns for long term negative effects. They are effective, yes - but 100% not sustainable.
