Hi, I was wondering where I would find purple shampoo? I haven't really looked around, was just wanting to keep the money in the town rather than ordering it online. I'm trying to get my blonde/orange hair to the silver state. Everywhere I look online says all they're using is the purple shampoo. I would really love to try this product if anyone knows where I can get it please help me out. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

I haven't been platinum blonde in 6 months and still have some purple shampoo left. If you live in Brandon and are able to pick it up, you can have it for free to try out in your hair. If you like it, the brand I have can be purchased at Sally's in the Corrall Centre!

Also all the purple shampoo does it help take the brassy harshness out of blonde hair. Depending on how your hair was dyed and the type of dye and toner used, you may or may not still need to see a hair dresser to help you achieve the colour of blonde you want. After that the purple shampoo really helps cut back on how often you may need to see a hair dresser.  
 
Depending on the water and other shampoos used to wash your hair, will determine how often you need to use the purple shampoo. I know some people who would use it every three washes, myself, I used it once a week and my hair stayed almost a white blonde.

I have been going to the hair dresser but unfortunatly I decided to stray away from my regular hair dresser (she's pregnant) was out of the country when I did get my hair done and I'm not all that to hype about it. She was not impressed with me, so instead of spending hundreds in a hair dressing fee I'll try this til she is ready to fix my hair.

I'll send you a PM right away. And you're welcome. There is less than half, more than a 1/4 of my 1L bottle left and quite a bit in a travel size bottle too. I don't see myself going back to blonde anytime soon so at least this way it's not wasted and you can test it for free. There are many brands on the market, and my hair dresser actually recommended this one to me and it's fairly inexpensive and works just as great as more expensive brands. I actually preferred this one over one of the more expensive ones I tried.

Make sure you get quality purple shampoo, the stuff from Walmart won't work nearly as well as the stuff from chatters. AG brand is my favourite, and use the conditioner too, it's called sterling silver. This one has the most pigment that will stay in your hair. Basically you're leaving purple pigment in your hair which counter acts the brassy colour and takes it to a more white/silver colour. When you're starting out you should leave it in for 5-10 mins then when your hair is at a shade you like, cut back to 1-2 times per week otherwise your hair will literally be purple!

If you have too much yellow or orange shampoo is not usually enough to get you to the cool tone you want. Likely you need to lighten it some. Try systems beauty college, great price for corrective color as long as you have time.

I use Blonde Brilliance. Not only does it tone my blonde to a beautiful neutral blonde, but it leaves my dry ends super soft!
