A reaction to black mold isn't like a typical usually benign allergy, like for example to pollen.
Did a bit of research, Black mold, known as Stachybotrys chartarum, release mycotoxins which can cause permanent health issues with prolonged exposure. Here's just some of the symptoms:
Respiratory problems
Skin inflammation
Hemorrhage
Irritation of the mucous membranes
Damage to internal organs
Mental impairment
Tiredness
Nausea
Immune system suppression
Taking allergy medications will just mask the symptoms, but won't stop the damage from the toxins.
Mycotoxins are so small that even HEPA rated air purifiers and vacuums can't fully capture these particles and they stay toxic for years, the problem here is the toxins are going to be present even after the mold contaminated drywall is (carefully) removed, the entire apartment and all your possessions will still be contaminated. Thankfully the toxins can be deactivated by a commercial ozone generator, used by mold remediation companies, either that or throwing out every unwashable possession, stripping all carpets and washing apartment top to bottom.
You should really press this issue to your landlord, that it needs to be professionally dealt with ASAP
In the meantime you should either:
A. Stay somewhere else until it's professionally remedied
B. Spray the affected area with Concrobium(a fungicide, available at most hardware stores) so it cant produce anymore mycotoxin spores, wash everything washable, vacuum when all the windows and doors are open, and ventilate the apartment as often as possible (daily) (open all windows and doors) until your satisfied that there's been a complete air change.
