sciatic pain

I would encourage you to seek medical advice as well as ask friends for their insights.
I suffer extreme sciatic pain on occasion caused by some L4L5 issues. as well my pelvis tends to rotate. I was given a pamphlet by my family doctor when an MRI was ordered almost 2 years ago. I have been doing these exercises everyday since. I was told I could continue them 2 or 3 times a week. I need to do them daily and I do them as needed when things are not feeling right. On occasion the pain is so great I can not do these exercises, a physio gives me other things to do that are specific to what the issue is at that moment. With the help of a physio I have modified my life, found strengthening exercises and avoided surgery thus far.
I walk, stretch, swim, plank, weight train and do Pilates daily. Some have told me yoga will be beneficial. The internet has an abundance of videos and articles about back health. Do your own research, keep an open mind and caution everyone's issues are unique. what works for one might be detrimental for the next.
Back health is extremely important I would again encourage you to seek help from a family physician as well as physio or chiropractic.
Good luck
