Prepare if you haven’t already.  
 
Blizzard can have you stuck at home for days. Can affect power heat food supply water roads streets access to medical and communication.  
 
Keep everything fully charged. Phones laptops etc  
 
Have extra batteries out.  
 
Have candles and matches ready to go.  
 
Flashlights out.  
 
Have a radio out for use (not dependent on electricity)  
 
Fill pails and containers with water.  
 
If needed clean up messes like dishes so not an  
issue for you.  
 
Extra warm clothes: blankets etc available.  
 
Have shovels easy access.  
 
Stay home. No where or anything is important to risk your life.  
 
Make sure your family is safe whether with you or somewhere else.  
 
Remember even if it turns out all of this is not necessary. Better to be prepared.  
 
If something happens and you are stuck in your car do NOT leave your vehicle. Except to make sure your exhaust pipe isn’t blocked if your car is still running.  
 
(Emergency items are hopefully already in your car)
