Hey eBrandoners. I’m just wondering at what temperature (Celsius) do you all keep your homes? I had mine at 18 but then I found that I had that cool humidity feel in my clothes and bedding (could be due to the weather), so now I’m up to 20.

When our home gets below 16 degrees we'll likely start turning some heat on. Hasn't been cool enough yet for that. Usually keep it between 16-18 degrees.

mine is at 22 right now. during summer its 23, and same goes winter.

There was a discussion about house heat setting awhile back, and I was shocked at how low some people keep their thermostat. I think I remember one post that said they keep there’s at 12. 12!!! I would be freezing Lol!! We keep ours around 20, sometimes 21 if I’m cold.

I agree.. setting temp in a home too low is not good for the home itself.

We keeps ours between 19 and 21. My mother in-law likes it at 23 which is too hot in my opinion.

20c all year for us .

At this time of year, we try to keep ours between 18.5 & 19.5. We cannot sleep if it gets much higher than 20.

During the night or when at work/school it’s set to 16. When we are up or at home 20. And if that’s not warm enough 21.  
 
But the defaults are 16 and 20.

During the night and day while at work I like to have it at 16. When we are home I put it to 18. When it's really cold out I usually like it at 20-21.

22 degrees at 6:15am, I like to get up to a warm house. Then at 10:am it drops to 21, and stays at that temperature for the day. (i will lower it if I am going out) It drops again to 15 at 9:30pm, I like it cooler for sleeping. So far so good, I am sure I will do some adjusting as the weather gets colder.

I keep our at 69F=20.5C during the time we are home. It drops a few degrees during the day and night.

We set it at 19 in the winter. We've tried 18 but with a baby in the house that's a bit cool. When he's older we might try it again.  
 
I think it dials back to 16 or 17 to sleep, I'm not even sure. It just magically happens thanks to my husband's thermostat programming.  
 
By contrast, we keep our a/c at 24 in the summer, sometimes more when it's dastardly hot out. We basically turn it off at night and open the windows.

You might find it's cool right now because it's not cold yet. When it's cold-cold, 18 might be good because it will run more often and take the humidity out of the air. Right now, it won't run as much and the air stays more moist.  
 
Making the bed (if you don't already do that) helps with the bedding issue I find. Also, if you have an electric blanket if you run it for 10 minutes before climbing in bed it will make a big difference. Cheaper to run a electric blanket for 10 minutes at night than to heat the house 2 celsius all day.

21C during the day, 19C at night.

The bottom line is that it is your house and you feel comfortable in your house be that at 18 or 22. Be comfortable!!

We set ours at 23 and I’m still freezing half the time!

We come from a tropical country so ours is always 24°C

I like it a bit cooler for sleeping.

It seems to depend on the air balance of the ducts. I have to turn it up to keep the cold areas warm or lower the temperature and keep the circulation fan on.

23 all the time! Unless the Bf turns it down on me.

I had to unexpectedly sleep at my sons home. I slept on the couch My son is so careful about his hydro bill he turns it down at night.  
 
So I wake up. Still half asleep. And think why is it so hot. Then noticed I had all three cats laying on top of me. Three little furnaces. Yikes.
