The NEW Face of Education?

In the UK, children will soon learn how to master websites such as Wikipedia, they will learn how to create blogs and podcasts. Compulsory sex education will start from five and children as young as nine will be taught to make 'informed decisions' about taking drugs and drinking alcohol. The emphasis will move from the traditional history and math and social studies, to internet skills, environmental education, healthy eating and well-being.
Educators in Europe believe educators "around the world" will move from the "old style of learning" and adpot more practial approaches to info gathering as opposed to info retention.
Thoughts?
