Who has kennelled their dogs in Brandon for a few days? How did the dogs do? Were they terrified or comfortable? I've never kennelled before and not sure how it works. Any recommendations for Brandon? Good experiences? Thank you.

Before you go to any make sure your dogs get the kennel cough vaccine. Our boxer was sick. I personal wouldn’t go to any I would find someone that could take your dog. I have heard great things about the Paws never been. My friends dog loved it

Bbk is great! You can ask for your dog to have running around time! They get lots of fresh air and the people are great! If your looking for more dog interaction type stay I know Sola on 1st has options for overnights as well.

Our dog gets pretty excited when he gets dropped off at Golden Acres. He doesn’t go often but he remembers it!!

We have two dogs always kennelled together. We have used them for years no problems

We took our large dog there once, never again. We don’t know if anything happened there but she was different after we picked her up. Could be a variety of reasons. Nonetheless We leave her with people now. She is more comfortable and has more freedom

What kind of security and alarms are in place for the animals protection? Do the caretakers live on site? How often are the animals tended to and checked on? Not all kennels are equal in their level of services, security and infrastructure of the facility. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and tour the facility before making a decision. You get what you pay for and your animals health and safety is absolutely priceless!

My poor girl caught kennel cough at a local facility last summer something awful, despite being vaccinated. The vet said there are many strains, just like the human flu, and the vaccine only prevents against one.  
 
That aside, I believe they all do their best to look after your pets.
