I highly recommend the Brandon Boarding Kennel located on Patricia Avenue west of Bdn. We have used them several times. Very clean & your pet is well cared for. Reasonably priced to!

I would REALLY recommend steering clear of the Spring Park one. If we can’t get into the Paw Spa we have used Brandon Boarding... but probably wouldn’t leave our guy anywhere else.

I guess Nichol is now paw resort - did not realize. They book up fast and quickly. Go to golden acres because they have just changed owners recently!

I’ve taken my dog to spring park boarding kennels a few times ranging anywhere from one night to a week and he’s always come out of there happy as can be, he’s a pretty happy dog to begin with though so not sure if that means anything but I’ll continue taking him there, price is good too, 16 dollars a day I believe it is

Ask questions about animal security, living on site, and view the facilities. Don’t assume anything is safe until you see for yourself! I speak from experience and would never want anyone to go through what our family had to, if we had only asked more questions.

Golden Acres changed owners? When did this happen? Who owns it now?

It was our favourite place, our girls loved it there. And yes, I’d also steer away from Spring Park. Made that mistake once, never again.

People I know just took over Golden Acres and it sounds like they have been working hard to make some improvements around the kennel as well.
They are also true-blue animal lovers and fur-parents themselves. I'd trust them with my fur-babies any time.

Check out their new website. New owners/management have changed a few weeks ago. They are also renovating

thank you y’all for the suggestions! i have researched every kennel and found a spot for my dog this weekend! i did not want to pick just any place as i care about my dog

Brandon Boarding Kennel or Paw Resort, and I have nothing against Golden Acres. I have visited one two different times and the smell was nauseating-i mean serious eye watering-i would never leave a dog there.

I have been to Brandon Boarding Kennel numerous times and it is always clean and really nothing for odor.
