from garmin is what I use. I have it so I can run multiple dogs on the one controller. It also is a bark collar, if I hold the button down long enough. I conditioned my dog to it, and normally we start off on the higher side of "normal" for my dog (while training) and after a couple corrections I can turn it down to the vibrate. My dog is extremely adhd and high drive and has a very fat neck, so it does take him a little longer than some smaller dogs I have seen and used them on.
I was against these collars due to what you read and see idiots doing, but now after having proper training myself and seeing the difference in my dog I will never go back to the "humane" way. I have actually had myself and each one of my family members hold the collar, so they also have an understanding as to what it's set at.
The pro550 is a little more costly ($500-$600), but the multiple dog functions, low/medium/high settings for each level, beep & vibrate command, light on the collar (so you can see your dog in the dark), flashing LED light and bark option if used is well worth the money. Comes with different sized prongs for dogs with less fatty necks (unlike mine). The downside to it, is the collar it comes with sucks! It is basically a cheap plastic thing, but there are numerous companies out there (Ray Allen, K9 Storm) that make nice e-collar collars.
