    Just wondering if any vet clinics in Brandon will write a s:cript for Metacam without seeing my dog? Shes had it before and I want to have some on hand just in case her leg starts bugging her again.

    A veterinarian, just like a human prescriber, needs to have a relationship with a patient in order to prescribe medications. If your dog is a regular patient, then your vet might do that for you. If your dog has not seen a vet in the recent past, it is highly unlikely that any vet will write a prescription for Metacam.

    From my experience they won't give a pres:cription if they don't see the dog. I have been in that situation and that's what they told me. Have you tried the mobile vet? She will come to your home, of course there will be fees like any other veterinarian.
