Our dog got out while at the kennel around 1St and Patricia around 10am this morning. We are yet to hear of any sittings. He is only 6 months old and is about 11LBS.  
If anyone has seen this little guy please contact me at 204-761-7699.  
 
We have 3 devastated kids who really want him back.  

How did golden acres lose him? Did he escape? Hope you find him soon

Is there anything other than keeping our eyes open that we can do to help?

But don't think he's been found yet. Haven't spoken to the family but I'm assuming since bala still shows him missing he is. Unfortunately not much any of us can do. I drove around most of Monday south of Patricia ave on the back roads in hopes he would show himself.

On this dog....still lost?

As far as I know, he is still missing. I hope the boarding kennel is helping (Golden Acres) as he has escaped from there. No idea how but in my opinion, I think someone saw him and kept him (people can be terrible) because of his breed, pomsky. I would offer an reward ….. but praying for his safe return!

I hate to say it. But I feel like this should shift from a lost puppy to maybe an abduction? It’s been quiet a few days and not a single sign of the pup has been found?  
 
It makes me feel sick to even type that out and i hope it’s not the case. But you e gotta explore all options at this point.

Yep.. It has been 5, almost 6 days and no sign. I think someone stole your dog and you may need to offer some type of reward for his return..

Sadly as soon as I heard this I immediately thought of someone taking this dog, maybe not from the business, but if they found him running outside, just to keep him. My heart breaks because I know how broken kids hearts can be. I'd offer an award and hope

More then a few have come to this conclusion! He's been missing since Sunday and to have no one see him at all seems weird! I hope for the family sake that definately isn't the case.  
 
As for the kennel, well I myself would hold them fully responsible and request they put up the reward! With a 6 montb old skittish puppy they should have been more careful! Then again we don't know the sorry of how he got out.  
 
I have change the way I go to and from work on the off chance the little guy shows himself! I'm hoping that if someone does have this little guy people notice or they gain moral and return him to his family! My eyes are always opened now.

Just because a dog has not been seen does not mean it has been stolen. Of course it is a possibility, but not the only one. If people think that's for sure what happened, they may stop looking for a lost dog. A skittish/ shy dog will not put itself out in the open for many days after going missing. He will act very elusively, only coming out for very short periods when everything is quiet and nobody is around. If he has found a shelter and source of food (perhaps someone feeding cats outdoors), it could be a really long time until the dog is actually seen. There may be more subtle signs - tracks in the snow, resident dogs barking at 'nothing', etc.

If this is the case I am glad it has been mild weather this week! And the doggy has a nice fluffy coat!!! All positive things!!! I'm hoping he is found!!

There have been no signs of him anywhere! We have handed out flyers both in town and within a 3 mile radius to the south of the kennels. We have been on foot and literally checked as many bluffs of trees and bushes as we can (as we have 3 kids not an easy task), through all that not 1 sign of him anywhere! He has now been missing over a week and we are trying to keep hopes high, and haven’t stopped looking yet!  
Yes! We have thought about a reward for him as no money can replace him around here. But if he is still on the loose people chasing after him in seek of the reward may do more harm to him then good.

I was driving down Victoria this past Friday and saw a tall woman carrying a husky type smaller dog. She was walking west just past the University. Msg me for description.

Just because you seen a lady with a pomsky, does not mean it was their dog. It could be her dog as I know a few people in town that owns a pomsky. Be careful not to make accusations

Not an accusation at all, maybe she has found their dog and getting in contact with her does not hurt what's so ever

No one is accusing anyone. It’s just a possible lead thats worth looking into, if for no other reason, but to strike it off the list and give these dog owners peace of mind to move on to the next lead.  
 
Unfortunately dog theft has become all too commonplace, and it is quite possible that this is what has happened in this situation. As in any theft every lead should be investigated. If the woman with the pomsky has done nothing wrong then she has nothing to be worried about. If the police cane to my door and asked me to provide proof that I am the rightful owner of my dog, vehicle, etc I would provide proof with no worries.  
 
I pray that this pup is found healthy and is reunited with his poor family soon.
