Does anyone know when the vet clinics in Brandon will open up. Our pet is overdue for their wellness check plus their shots.  
I cannot get an answer from our vets office.

Dr Mawer has been doing some work during recent weeks with her Petmobile Vet Clinic...a friend has had his cats receive their shots. She comes right to your home. last I heard they will still do wellness checks and shots but the owner must wait outside. I guess if you have questions for the vet beforehand you can do a phone visit like you have to do with your own physician?

They are taking phone calls and some appointments. Give them a call. Just got my heart worm meds from there.

Ours never closed, we have been twice to Grand Valley. You phone when you get there and speak with the tech, who them comes and gets your pet. Then the vet phones and speaks to you during your pets apt. We have had great service.

We also use Grand Valley and they've been great to deal with this whole time. We were also able to bring our dog in for his glands and shots with no problem, just like outlined above we just had to wait in our car.  
 
But I think some vets did in fact shut down. The vets my parents use in Winnipeg did, they were only doing emergency stuff. She was surprised we could get routine stuff done here.

I wanted to add that at Grand Valley, they don't always pick up right away because they are very busy on the phone with the new process. If you only tried once or twice at your vet, I would encourage you to try again a few times as it's possible that it's a similar situation.

I took my dog in for his annual checkup and to get his heartworm/tick combo as well for the year.  
They come out and get your pet and take them into the clinic for their appointment and then the vet came out afterwards to give me some detail on the appointment as there were some additional things that needed attention. It went very well but my boy LOVES the techs and Dr. Radcliffe at Brandon Animal so the vet is usually a pretty easy going process for us.

Brandon Hills Vet clinic would not do my dogs vaccinations when he became due in May. I was able to buy his heart worm and tick medicine by curbside pick up but no vaccinations or wellness check. I wasn’t happy.... you would think keeping vaccinations up to date would be considered essential.

Just had my dog in for warts and dental work done at grand valley. You make appointment, when you get there call they will take all your information about your animal and then they come out take it from you to get it’s check up and shots. You wait in your vehicle till they call you with information about it then you pay with a credit card and go get it from a different door
