Please I need help.  
I found a cat back in November who turned out to be microchipped, and the owner lives in Portland, Oregon.  
We finally have an opportunity to get him home. Originally we had someone who would take him to Calgary, where another person would then take him to Seattle. But unfortunately the person that was to take him to Calgary in unable to do so now.  
The owner is against flying him unfortunately which limits our option to driving.  
If anyone would be in Calgary on April 16th and would be able to meet with the lady who will take him on his second part of the trip it would be greatly appreciated.  
 
Darius is full of love and will sit in your lap all day if you let him. He is a very good cat. He deserves to get home.  
Any help is greatly appreciated

I don’t know the complete story but she adopted the cat in Oregon in 2018, and she married a guy up here in Brandon and when they divorced I’m not sure if he took the cat from her or what but I remember seeing the cat around Alexander in the summer in 2020 and I didn’t take him in until November. I assumed he belonged to someone in town. She says she hadn’t seen him since about a year before that

It’s just a little heartbreaking that I did have a way to get him home and now if I can’t get him to Calgary I will lose the opportunity

Perhaps a kind hearted semi driver will read this and give Darius a ride to Calgary !!!

Do you have a post on FB or IG that could be shared? My brother drives semi, but unfortunately doesn't go anywhere but SK and MB, but he could share it with his fellow truckers, and we could try and find, as suggested, a kind hearted semi driver to get this fella home where he belongs!

Did you have any luck with getting this kitty to Calgary? I know this is past your deadline of April 16th. Have you tried Critter Cabs? They arrange for Truckers to take the pets to their destination. I read a story on Facebook today about a dog that got away from a yard in Brandon & was found in Whitby Ontario. Apparently found beside the road by a truck - so ended up a long ways from home. Critter Cabs have arranged for the dog to be back home by the weekend. Here's a shout out for Truckers!

How is this a discussion, explain. She was seeking a ride for her cat which she found one long ago. U act like the cat is still here in Canada. No discussion here, ur just bored people that need to dwell in the past. I believe if posted adds are sold, or persons have found a solution to the problem they are having then dissolve the add...duhhhh

Or you can just ignore, Nobody is putting a gun to your head to read every single post, DUH

Honest to God, people will complain about everything. This was never an ad, it was a request for help. Now people are discussing how happy they are the kitty has made it home. Sick it up and scroll on if you dislike the discussion!  
 
I am very happy to hear this all worked out and the lady has her cat home.

What do you mean how is this a discussion?? The person did not mean it in a way to have philosophical debate with you about what constitutes a discussion.  
 
It's a discussion because that is the section it is posted in. It is quite literally a discussion thread and people wanted updates on what happened. This is how every forum works. If this was not an eligible to be put in the discussion then Adam would have deleted it a long time ago.  
 
It is unlikely OP can even delete an entire thread so what you are complaining about is even more dumb and pointless.
