Have issues with clipper burns from our present groomer. Any recommendations please?

Friends Fur Life Daycare and Grooming. Marie is fantastic with our 2 girls and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Also dogs are not crated which is a big deal to us as ours are not crated at home so it is something that is important to us.  
 
Also did you tell your groomer? It is important that you communicate with them so they know that there is an issue so it doesn’t happen again or to others.

Marie sounds great. Not sure if I understand..the dogs are just loose inside the groomers?

It’s also a doggy daycare when not in for grooming. Ours go for a full day to play and then have their groom at whatever time I book it for.  
 
If they aren’t good to be at daycare with the other dogs than you can drop off/pickup just for your groom appointment.  
 
Our girls love it there and the staff are great. Separate area for big dogs/small dogs. They get to play outside as well. Give it a try. Rates are reasonable as well.

I second Auntie Cheryl. She's wonderful! We had issues with the previous groomer with burns and bleeding nails.  
 
If the Marie mentioned above used to be at Grand Valley she's also awesome.

We also use friends fur life on 26th. Awesome service. Awesome staff. Our dog goes once a week for daycare as well

I have informed the groomer 3 times of clipper burns, this time, bleeding and swelling. Anyone have a clean, gentle and fantastic groomer?

If you don’t mind a drive..Missed-a-bit just north of miniota is awesome. Parents have been taking their dog there for years. Lorraine is amazing with the dog. Also has kennels there

That need vet care. It’s become a pretty bad hot spot and is infected. I can’t help but wonder why you would give a groomer that many chances. I would not have gone back there after the second time for sure.

That picture is horrible! I would definitely take you dog to the vet to get antibiotics and cream. Poor thing.  
 
I strongly recommend Marie at Friends Fur Life.

I have been to vet and we had already started sterile saline washes at hime and the antibiotic cream. Vet said to continue as we are doing. Why 3 times did I give her a chance, first time a little nick on the muzzle, 2nd time clipper burns on under front legs, third time this. At first she was good then...this.

Definitely Friends Fur Life Daycare and Grooming. Our dog went blind last year so we were reluctant to take her for a grooming as she can get anxious when she is not with us.  
 
The staff there was very kind and understanding with her situation and did a great job both times we took her in for her grooming.
