What do you feed your barn cats .if there are no mice .

Although there are almost always mice.

I have never heard of no mice around. Cats eat birds squirrels gophers and other small rodents.

If you feel you need to feed them use hard cat food. Not too much as you don’t want them to get a taste for that and not mice.

bought cat food or table scraps I guess if you milk cows milk I just wondered .I save up my table scraps and freeze them and when I go out to the farm I take the scraps for the critters it's a good way to help out the critters.

Ours are fantastic hunters, even though they are well fed. I leave dry food out all the time and feed Fancy Feast wet food morning and night.

Truth is a well fed cat is a better hunter than a hungry cat is.

It is absolutely true that feeding your outdoor cats will help them to also be better hunters!

but . sometimes they may not have a good hunt .

Don't feed the poor cats table scraps. Cat food is much better.
And many cats are lactose intolerant, so giving milk isn't really helping them either.

I get what your saying these are not my cats they are wild barn cats they do not get any pampering special food so when I take my food scrapes to them that's being pampered .
