Hi anyone out for a walk with their dogs or letting their cats out I just wanted to warn you there is antifreeze down a driveway flowing onto the sidewalk it's off of Richmond and Brookwood drive.

Have you notified the owners or tenants of the house?
If not please do so immediately you may save some critters life

Call the police so they can get the proper enviro people out. Dumping antifreeze is illegal. (even if by accident) It is hazardous waste and very bad for the environment. The homeowner will be responsible for the cost of the clean up. Report it asap as it should not be allowed to run freely and enter drainage or surface water, not to mention causing a hazard for people and pets.

I agree they should be made aware but "accidents" are contaminating our planet and hazardous waste must be cleaned up properly. I didn't say the police should fine them if it was an "accident". Just that they would make sure it was cleaned up properly. The homeowner should suffer that cost.

First Question

My first question is...How do you know it's antifreeze. Is it possible it a sump pump hose with rusty or dirty water running down the driveway. Also, there a 2 types of antifreeze. Ethylene Glycol, which is toxic, but then there's Propylene Glycol which isn't as toxic.
So the questions still remains, how do you know it's antifreeze???
