What do others do about Neighbourhood dogs barking? There are several dogs on our street that the owners do not seem to be able to keep control of. I know that the Animal control has been to these home to warn these people, as the animal control vehicle has been seen several times. Therefore Warning must have been issued.  
I find it very frustration as we have small children, napping and going to bed early in the evening and the barking noise is not very tolerable. The owners seem to let them outside and leave for the day, afternoon and evenings and many times their vehicles are home.  
I am not one to complain and cause problems with neighbours, but enough is enough.  
For those who do own a barking Dog. Please Remember, its your responsibility to ensure he or she is not causing stress to all your neighbors. I am sure its not healthy for your dog to bark for 2 hours non stop. Some think its cruel to get a bark collar, well letting your pet bark for two hours non stop is just a cruel. If Your pet is barking he/she is not happy! If I can hear your dog several doors down, you must also hear it.. Again its your responsibility to control it!
